3 years as a Medical Lab Tech in an acute Hospital setting
Blood Bank Experience Required
Must be willing to float to Elmer
Certification/Licensure:
ASCP, BLS
Assignment Details
Shift: 40 hours per week 3p-11:30p
RTO- no more than 3 days per 13-week assignment
Weekend Requirement- Every Other

Hospital Orientation Information: You will receive TWO separate communications from the hospital. The 1st will be an email with the link for Monday's meeting as well as login information. Please note that you may not receive this email until the morning of, but you will receive by 8:30am! You will also hear directly from your manager for unit orientation and remaining schedule. If you do not hear from your manager by Monday, please let me know ASAP.
Orientation Schedule:
Monday (remote): Welcome Meeting in morning and at your own pace modules after
Tuesday: Report to home hospital - you will either do the EPIC test out OR do the EPIC modules *dependent on your EPIC Onboarding Form
Wednesday-Saturday: Unit Orientation Shifts (you will receive schedule directly from manager)
ID Badge Appointment: please be sure to go to your scheduled appointment before your 1st unit shift so that you have an active badge
The POCT class is scheduled for the 2nd or 3rd week of the assignment. Please ensure POCT class date is attended (*You can view your class date/time/location in your Healthstream)
