Job Summary:
The Identity Access Management (IAM) Consultant - Intermediate is responsible for configuring and supporting identity governance solutions, primarily using Oracle Identity Management and Oracle Access Governance. This role involves designing and deploying access request, approval, fulfillment, and review processes, troubleshooting integration issues, and supporting application onboarding and certification campaigns in large enterprise environments.
Responsibilities:
- Configure identities, accounts, permissions, roles, access bundles, and access catalog items.
- Support application onboarding by defining and validating account, entitlement, and access mappings.
- Configure identity collections and access collections following approved design rules.
- Build request catalog structures and ensure proper access visibility.
- Configure approval rules, routing logic, and reviewer ownership according to functional design.
- Configure and validate certification campaigns, review scopes, certifier assignments, and remediation behavior.
- Support reconciliation, correlation, and data load validation processes.
- Troubleshoot catalog visibility, collection membership, request submission, approval routing, and fulfillment issues.
- Collaborate with integration teams on REST APIs, JSON payloads, data feeds, and connector behavior.
- Consume and process real-time event streams from Oracle Access Governance streaming services.
- Normalize and transform complex streaming payloads into structured, query-optimized schemas.
- Validate request-to-approval-to-fulfillment traceability.
- Prepare technical configuration documents, deployment steps, and operational support notes.
- Support defect triage during SIT, UAT, and production readiness phases.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Identity Governance and Administration with strong expertise in Oracle Identity Management and Oracle Access Governance.
- 3+ years of experience deploying Oracle Access Governance in large enterprise environments (60,000+ user identities).
- Experience designing and deploying Oracle Access Governance reporting solutions leveraging streaming services.
- Proven ability to design end-to-end access request, approval, fulfillment, review, and lifecycle governance processes.
- Experience configuring access bundles, requestable access, access ownership, and catalog visibility.
- Experience with identity collections, access collections, approval workflows, and access review campaigns.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for reconciliation, correlation, mapping, and access visibility issues.
- Strong Java and API expertise supporting complex user lifecycle management with Oracle Access Governance.
- Development experience with React-based user interfaces integrated with Oracle Access Governance.
- Expert-level development of custom connectors and adapters using Oracle Access Governance Generic REST connectors.
- Experience integrating Oracle Access Governance with Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion HCM.
- Proficiency in SQL and data validation.
- Ability to analyze logs and diagnose configuration or integration issues.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Engineering experience with Oracle Identity Governance or Oracle Identity Manager (OIM).
- Experience with Oracle EBS responsibility and role model design.
- Experience working with ERP, finance, HR, or other entitlement-heavy applications.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Integration Cloud, or enterprise integration services.
- Scripting skills for data comparison, validation, or bulk checks.
Special Considerations:
- Must be able to work 5 days onsite as required.
- Role involves handling high-volume data ingestion with robust error handling and replay capabilities.
- Work includes supporting defect triage during testing and production readiness phases.
