WHLR is looking for an experienced Senior Property Manager to lead day-to-day operations across a portfolio of commercial retail properties and serve as a mentor and resource for our broader Property Management team. This role will sit in our Virginia Beach, VA office with frequent travel to assigned properties expected.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Property Manager, you'll take the lead on complex property management responsibilities while also supporting the development of junior team members. You'll oversee all operational aspects of your assigned properties. Including budgeting, capital planning, vendor management, tenant relations, and lease compliance. While collaborating cross-functionally with leasing, construction, finance, and legal teams.
You'll develop and manage 5-year Capital Plans, drive positive SSNOI performance, administer license agreements, respond to lender notices, and support property dispositions and acquisitions. You'll also mentor Assistant Property Managers and Property Managers, help coordinate portfolio-wide coverage, and contribute to process improvements and special projects across the department.
