Job Title: Senior Buyer - Resin

Location: Open to candidates in the Grand Rapids area or remote within the Midwest.

Base - $100-$110k

Annual Bonus - 10%

We're looking for a Senior Buyer with real resin purchasing ownership to join a growing plastics manufacturer. This is not a transactional buying role.

You'll own the resin commodity: supplier relationships, negotiations, forecasting, and cost management, and partner closely with operations and
production.

What you'll do:

• Own purchasing strategy for polymer resins (ideally with meaningful annual spend)
• Negotiate contracts and manage key supplier relationships
• Forecast demand and align purchasing with production needs
• Drive cost savings and supply continuity
• Work in an ERP/MRP environment

What we're looking for:

• Approximately 5 years of purchasing experience
• Direct ownership of resin or polymer purchasing (not just supporting a manager)
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Comfortable with forecasting and working cross-functionally with production
