Location: Brickyard Craft Kitchen and Bar (Tribeca) and Continental Sports Lounge (FiDi), New York City

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Pizza Man / Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team at our upscale sports bar and restaurant. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas, executing hot line orders, and supporting overall kitchen operations during high-volume service. The ideal candidate thrives in a team environment, maintains a positive attitude under pressure, and is passionate about delivering exceptional food that keeps our guests coming back during Knicks games, UFC fights, happy hours, and private events.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook pizzas from scratch, including dough handling, stretching, topping, and baking in high-volume wood-fired or deck ovens.
• Work the hot line efficiently: grill, sauté, fry, and assemble menu items including appetizers, entrees, sandwiches, and daily specials.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, taste, presentation, and consistency.
• Follow all recipes, portion controls, and food safety guidelines (HACCP, NYC Health Department standards).
• Monitor and manage station inventory (dough, sauces, toppings, proteins, etc.), communicate par levels, and assist with ordering as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Pizza Maker / Line Cook in a high-volume restaurant, sports bar, or pizzeria preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pizza dough preparation, fermentation, and oven management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment (nights, weekends, holidays required).
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Food Handler / ServSafe certification is a plus.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a hot kitchen.
• Spanish/English bilingual is a plus.
