HR Coordinator (Temp-to-Perm) – Wakefield, MA

Location: Wakefield, MA (On-site, 3 days per week)
Pay Rate: $30/hour
Schedule: Part-time / Hybrid (3 days weekly)
Employment Type: Temporary with potential for permanent hire

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis. This role is ideal for an organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting HR operations, employee engagement, and administrative excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires and departing employees
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
• Assist with benefits administration, payroll support, and employee inquiries
• Schedule interviews, coordinate recruiting logistics, and support talent acquisition efforts
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
• Support employee relations initiatives, engagement programs, and internal communications
• Prepare HR reports, track key metrics, and assist with audits as needed
• Provide administrative support to the HR team on various projects and daily functions

Qualifications

• 2 years of HR coordination, HR administration, or related experience
• Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
