Salary: $158,000 - 198,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for 5–8 years of related IT development, programming, and coding experience in a Hadoop environment.
• We need hands-on experience with Agile methodology.
• We require development expertise in HBase, Scala, and Spark.
• We require experience working with Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS).
• We need Kafka development experience.
• We require data warehousing experience.
• We are seeking at least 5 years of related professional technical design and coding experience in the IT industry.
• We require a related bachelors degree or equivalent related work experience.
• We expect strong knowledge of unit testing, release processes, coding standards, documentation practices, and change management.
• We need proficiency with version control tools.
• We expect knowledge of IT systems and computer platforms.
• We value strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
• We need a collaborative team player who can also work independently and take ownership of assignments.
• We expect clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical information effectively.
• We require adaptability in a fast-moving environment and strong independent decision-making.
• We expect proficiency in more than one object-oriented programming language.
• We require familiarity with desktop tools such as MS Office and flowcharting tools like Visio.
• We need experience using debugging tools.

• We design, develop, and operate systems that store and manage large volumes of data.
• We write code for moderately complex system designs across multiple platforms.
• We build APIs and develop enhancements for existing applications or new programs.
• We review code written by other developers and help establish programming standards.
• We prepare detailed technical specifications and identify integration points.
• We review system and functional requirements, flag missing elements, and explain downstream impacts.
• We collaborate with developers, business analysts, systems analysts, project managers, and vendors.
• We estimate scope, resources, and effort for programming work.
• We perform unit testing and debugging, including support for more complex issues when needed.
• We support application migration through the product development lifecycle.
• We research vendor solutions and perform gap and comparison analysis.
• We ensure IT controls are incorporated to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of application data.
