The University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center (UNMCCC) and the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology at the UNM School of Medicine, invite applications from physicians or physician scientists with an interest in clinical care, clinical and translational research, and clinical trials for patients with gastrointestinal (GI) malignancies.
Join a multidisciplinary team while gaining major influence in an academic setting. You'll partner with national laboratories and serve New Mexico's diverse populations through groundbreaking research and clinical trials.
UNMCCC is proud to provide multidisciplinary cancer care not offered anywhere else in New Mexico. As such, UNMCCC is excited to introduce new, comprehensive services as part of its current expansion project. Through this project, GI cancer patients will gain access to New Mexico’s only radiotherapy MR Linear Accelerator, which enables for real-time imaging during treatment and enhances precision medicine. The project will also provide increased treatment space for GI cancer patients who would benefit from targeted radioisotope theranostics.
