Role: ETL Developer

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:

• Experienced ETL Developer with strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, specializing in designing and developing mappings, sessions, and workflows to support enterprise data integration.
• Skilled in leveraging tools such as Source Analyzer, Mapplet Designer, and Workflow Manager to build efficient data loading processes, monitor execution, and ensure performance reliability.
• Proficient in SQL and database design with proven ability to troubleshoot issues, optimize queries, and implement complex transformations including Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD), delivering accurate and scalable data solutions aligned with business requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

• ETL Methodologies: Extensively applied ETL concepts to support data extraction, transformation, and loading processes using Informatica PowerCenter.
• ETL Job Design: Designed and developed PowerCenter ETL jobs to extract data from heterogeneous source systems and load into DB2 Data Marts.
• Business Requirement Analysis: Collaborated with business analysts to understand processes and translate user requirements into optimized Data Mart solutions.
• Transformations Expertise: Implemented complex data manipulations using Filter, Expression, Lookup, Aggregator, Joiner, Router, Rank, Sorter, Update Strategy, and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD).
• Data Integration: Processed data from multiple source systems including relational databases and flat files, ensuring seamless integration.
• SCD Type Implementation: Designed and implemented Slowly Changing Dimension Type methodology to maintain historical data accuracy.
• ETL Mapping & Workflow Design: Created and optimized mappings in Informatica PowerCenter Designer using Source Analyzer, Mapplet Designer, and Mapping Designer; developed sessions and workflows in Workflow Manager to enable seamless data loading and monitored execution in Workflow Monitor for performance and reliability.
• SQL & Database Expertise: Demonstrated strong proficiency in SQL queries, database design, and development; performed data processing, identified issues, and implemented solutions to ensure accuracy and efficiency across relational databases.
